Donate Your Old Coats for Metro Atlanta Kids

Tis the season to give, Atlanta! Whether you know it or not, several kids throughout Metro Atlanta are about to go through the winter months without a warm coat. But, you can change that. All you have to do is donate your gently used kids’ coats to Healthy Notions.
Saturday, November 21st, Healthy Notion non-profit children’s organization, in partnership with One Warm Coat, will have the 2nd Annual “Warm Coats for Kids” coat drive. The drive will be at Kroger Grocery Store, 3000 Old Alabama Road, Alpharetta GA 30022.
So here’s how you can get involved. Just drop off the coats you no longer need at the Kroger location on Old Alabama Road in Alpharetta GA. The winter coats can be any type and size, but the greatest need is for child-size machine-washable coats that can be easily maintained after they are distributed. Healthy Notions will distribute the coats to local childrens and womens shelters and orphanages prior to the holidays.
Last week we reached out to several local agencies to see what their need would be for this Winter. Within 24 hours we received messages from over half the agencies letting us know that YES, they were in desparate need of warm coats this year.
The coats you donate will make a huge difference in the life of a child in need.
