Celebrate National Family Volunteer Day (Nov 21st)…Help Us Collect “Warm Coats for Kids”

***HELP KEEP A CHILD WARM THIS WINTER BY DONATING YOUR GENTLY USED OR NEW COATS.***

National Family Volunteer day is an annual day of service held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and is designed to demonstrate the power of families who choose to volunteer together to support the communities in which they live and serve. Volunteering provides quality time for busy families, strengthens communication and bonds and positively impacts local communities across the nation.

Join us for the Healthy Notions 2nd Annual “WARM COATS for KIDS” drive. We will collect Gently Used and New warm coats, gloves and hats to help keep children in Metro Atlanta warm this winter. Donations will be given as gifts-in-kind to children in orphanages, shelters and foster care throughout Metro Atlanta.
WHEN: Saturday, November 21, 2009
TIME: 8am to 4pm
WHERE: Kroger Grocery Store @ 3000 Old Alabama Road, Alpharetta GA 30022 (Intersection of Old Alabama & Haynes Bridge Rd)
VOLUNTEERS: We Need Your Help! “Warm Coats for Kids” is a perfect opportunity for families,students & organizations to complete a community service project and help make a difference in the community.
